WHAT HAPPENED?
With the 2024-25 season just over a month away, Danish forward Hojlund took to social media to playfully highlight how excited he was for the new campaign, by feasting on a meaty dinner. That led Maguire and his United team-mates to react in various ways.

WHAT HOJLUND AND MAGUIRE SAID
Alongside the Dane posting a photo of him chowing down on a rib, he wrote in his Instagram post: "This is how hungry I am for the season to start."
That led United team-mate Maguire to comment: "I hope that's blackcurrant in that glass," in reference to what looked like a glass of red wine on Hojlund's table.

Hojlund and Maguire had up and down seasons in 2023-24, with issues with form and injury hampering their campaigns. After ending the season on a high with a FA Cup triumph, the Red Devils will look to fire up the Premier League table – while also winning trophies again – following an eighth-placed finish last time out.
